Links, Thoughts, Blackberry, Sarah Connor, Work and Carquest…

First I read the following headline… “Jeb Bush gets behind McCain” and it sounded something more like; “Garfield found a running mate.” *laughs* who gives a flying shit about Jeb Bush and who he endorses.. this guy is a bigger ass clown then the other two political Bush wacks.

I don’t think McCain has much of a chance anyway if he is going to run against Hillary or Obama, but he does know how to make me laugh. Jeb Bush.. let’s get Woody Woodpecker on the phone and have him get Yosemite Sam to endorse McCain too.. *LOL!!* I bet Songebob would be happy to help fill the political warchest.

“Jeb Bush was one of the most sought-after endorsements ahead the presidential primary season” And here I thought everyone was trying to get Elmer Fudd’s endorsement. Same difference I suppose.. *fudd laugh*

“Gore won’t endorse” Good for him.. I would play the same card.. I have always like Al Gore.. he has grown on me.

“blackberry email service goes down” from CNN: “subscribers may be unable to send or receive messages and may also be unable to “register their device, roam in another location, or use other services such as Internet browsing.” That would totally suck, I am surprised I didn’t hear about this today.

After reading this article all I can think of it .. thank god I own a Treo.

Monday night television is a real bitch for me as there are too many shows to watch or DVR at a time. There is American Gladiators, Deal or No Deal, Connor Chronicles, and Raw. They all over lap too much.. it’s a bitch, but I refuse to pay for a second DVR. I guess I could hook up cable TV into my office and set up the video card as a DVR also.

Has anyone else been watching the Sarah Connor Chronicles? The show is pretty good with some light humor as well. In tonight’s episode the female terminator is basically instructed to speak to a counselor about “her grievance” over the death of a “fellow student”. When the counselor is finished speaking the terminator motionless and with her monotone voice says; “I am finished with grief counseling, I am all better now, thank you.. may I leave now?” The show is a scream.. in a way the female terminator is the comic relief of the show.

Carquest Day 2:

I have to re arrange my schedule at work to meet the accomodations of my ride. It’s kind of annoying, but I do what I have to do. I am teasing the idea of from dealer ship yesterday, my supervisor at work told me his dad is a car dealer. (not sure what I think about that yet), and my uncle asked me some questions as he might have some prospects also. He is thinking either rebuild the truck, or get another vehicle and get the truck fixed.

I will just have to see what he finds out when he calls me in the morning.

Work was pretty busy today which was good as I like time to fly. We hit budget by two which is always a good thing, and we were over our sales budget by the time I left so all and all a good day.

My one on one review with my boss was pretty decent. He wants me to continue doing what I am doing, and start training other people to pick up the steam when I am not around, etc. *shrugs* I said it before and I will say it again.. it is great to be king!

New TV Season – Thus Far…

Miss me? It’s been about a week since I have smeared something on here…. *grins*

You have to have real appreciation for the internet when it comes to missing a show on TV. You can just go out and find it on some TV website and catch what you missed. i.e. Chuck …

I was able to find Chuck after missing the season premiere last night. The show seems pretty entertaining with a tough of god damn that blonde bitch is hot!! Not to mention the irony and humorous similarities between the fictional Buy More store with the Nerd Herd to help people with their computers. Pretty good show, hopefully it will last… and not suck.. but who knows….

The season premiere of Boston Legal was pretty funny, and NCIS wasn’t too bad either. There are only a couple more shows left for me to wait to kick off… Las Vegas.. and another one I can’t think of at the moment…

I have the next two days off from work and other then laundry I really have nothing to do. I might look into rewiring the electrical in my office, but that might be the extent of my projects and I doubt I will even do that.. too much of a pain in the ass…

I managed to pick up a docking station for my Treo to hook up to my computer. It will become handier when I pick up a second battery for the phone. This will allow me to just hot swap batteries as opposed to hooking the phone up to a charger all the freakin time. My other solution was to not access the internet, text message, chat on aim, keep up on appointments, or check my email… That just was not going to happen. I can’t be working towards supernerd and not have a supernerd phone! It’s just not right!!

Finally … I have been messing around with Linux again. After years of just talking about messing with Linux, I took it a step further and actually placed my hands on a copy and played with in Linux for a while… Now do not get too excited kiddies… I used Ubuntu? This copy I got you could either install it onto your computer, or run it off of a cd… score! this means if I don’t like it I can reboot the computer, take out the CD and move forward… Now … I will still eventually install it on a machine … or not … fuck it after seven years of not touching it I made some real progress.. I guess I shouldn’t push my luck… *laughs*

Anyway … if you think you have a better copy of Linux I would like, or would have more enjoyment messing with, drop me a note, email, call.. whatever… in the mean time ……

Hero’s and We Will Pump You Up! [ and I'm sick ]

I always had an interest in Hero’s however I was unable to have enough time to catch up with what I missed, and then stay up with what would be currently going on.

With that, I decided on the next best thing… Hero’s on DVD….

I saw a link on a site I frequent where there is talk about NBC bringing back the American Gladiators. Sorry, but wasn’t this like a pile of shit the first time around? Granted when I was in high school they had these two guys dressed up as American Gladiators spewing out stupid shit like, “We will pump you up!” Bleh … but whatever …. hopefully most of the American viewing sheep would rather stick their peckers in a blender (or find someone’s pecker if you do not have one) then sit through a remake of something that sucked the first time around .. *shrugs* but who knows.. someone things its a good idea so I vote we start with their pecker … and pump them up…

Have you watched Delta Farce? Neither have I, but I have it … I am sure there will be something funny about it other then I wasted my time watching it… *smirks*

All of this is the best I can dream up being home on my day off with a fucking cold! Actually I think for the most part I am over it since I took an assload of medicine, drank a gallon of OJ, and slept twelve hours. That usually does it for me! It sucked balls yesterday as I was constantly sneezing, blowing my nose, sanitizing my hands, trying to stay awake, and hoping for the love of god my day would end so I could just go home and sleep. *shrugs*
