The Blame Game.. Vice City never looked sexier…

A former assistant manager of mine sent me this link in an email which I found to be entertaining… RadioShack blames Sprint Nextel for first-quarter problems Wait I am sorry mr wireless provider didn’t you know the fate of the free world and all resisters and failed product line rests on your shoulders?

Remember I used to work for Radioshack. They have been heading to business hell in a hand basket for quite some time. Next they will blame AT&T and then Verizon for leaving… I know.. lets have a cake cutting ceremony for Trumpet because the money is in prepaid wireless… Nyuk Nyuk…

Anyway…

Once I got my video card drivers to work correctly in HD .. GTA: Vice City never looked to sexy. I found a website where some guys are working on making Vice City an online atmosphere. That would be cool… I’m game..

I have yet become an owner of an XBox 360 or PS3 thus I missed the crowd in getting GTA 4. Here is how I look at it .. there is only now one game which would make me want to own a system, yet not enough reason for me to want to “own” one of these systems.

I will wait for it to come out on PC.. it is more enjoyable that way. You can torture people and take out the police jamming to your own music, and you can hack the vehicles, your clothes, etc.

But.. damn does the game look sexy on this screen. I didn’t realize how much I was used to using the old screen or more so what I have been missing out on. If you do not have a wide screen monitor I suggest you pick one up. *thumbs up*

I could purchase a second one since I can run two monitors simultaneously but I have no need.. and I would have a very pissed off wife.. like the latter stops me.. *smirks*

I have all of these fuckin coke rewards bottle caps sitting around that I never seem to remember to enter in the computer. Shit I have been in my office blasting assholes in video game land for a large part of the day and at no point have I gone.. “I should enter these codes”

Chances are it’s not going to happen after I post this either…

They should have this kind of shit in schools.. and at jobs.. do you know how much more would get accomplished this way? There would probably be less shootings… ehh.. never mind…

So .. last night I decided I needed to a new monitor to go in my office to match my awesome new chair. I have been using a fifteen inch LCD monitor forever.. like … almost four years… plus it was on a KVM so Ami and I had to share… now she has her computer and monitor on her own desk.. This new monitor is freaking HUGE!! I am however formatting my desktop to install windows, and also dual boot Ubuntu.. why windows?

I know what you are thinking.. so here is the thing… as much as I enjoy Ubuntu and linux and still plan on going full linux… unfortunately there are still some games which will only run and or run best in Windows… *shrugs*

I think I am going to go blow some shit up now …. take care!!

Retired??? What??? Movie Rentals.. New Balance..

So… I finally got my media computer the way I wanted it to run .. Since I am using Linux now.. and I don’t have the time at the moment to fuck with setting up sharing, etc, I decided to move the external hard drive to the entertainment computer. *shrugs*

I read this on the internet yesterday.. and it does not make me too .. happy.. Windows XP to be retired in 2008 This is just stupid … Vista is better then ME but seriously .. XP is the best.. why fucking stop carrying it? Oh wait .. I know why.. we are after talking about Microsoft.. *rolls eyes*

I do not understand the whole peace sign thing? Why is it every photo I see of my friends on their facebooks, or myspace do they have the peace sign whipped out. Doesn’t seem to matter if they are drunk or not. Did I miss the memo where this was required? *scratches head*

With the job I am on my feat near the entire time I am on the clock. Minus a meeting or two where I would at times rather push my penis through a pencil sharpener rather then sitting in a room listening to a bunch of people run their mouths about useless nonsense.. I like to think I could sum up my work ethic in a song title; “A little less conversation”

Anyway… I am off track with my relevance.. with being on my feet so much I have been using Dr. Schol’s and folks they suck. One of my co workers suggested checking out the new balance store. He told me they were the shit.. and his feet haven’t hurt since, etc.

So I check this place out, and I test out a pair of these foot gel molds. I tried them on in my shoes and they definitely felt much better then the crap I had in my shoes. I threw my Dr. Shits in the trash and left the new ones in my shoes. These have some serious potential my feet were hurting when I tried on these gels and the rest of the time I had them in my shoes they had felt so much better. Give me a couple days tho .. you know if I don’t like them I will be posting on here.. *smiles*

What the ???

Yesterday, someone told me they hate it when bill collectors call them asking for money… With out a beat I replied.. pay your bills and they will quit calling.. *laughs* I bring this up because I forgot to pay my sprint bill… *laughs* I am sure that person owed more then forty dollars…

Since there has not been in my opinion jack shit on TV I have set the DVR to record old favorites such as Nash Bridges, etc. While about to fast forward through the commercials (god bless DVR), I saw a commercial where you can *cough* send off unwanted jewelry (gold) in a super cool envelope and you sit on your stoop.. by the mail box…and they will send you money for your gold?

Color me stupid and sign me up!! I am not sure which question to follow this up with… how stupid do they think people are??? or how fucking stupid are people to send off their unwanted jewelry and hope for the best? I’m not making this shit up!! Here is the website.. CASH4GOLD

I could go on and on with this one .. on the other hand.. I could see people in the hood hanging out in the city robbing people of their jewelry and then mail it off for some cash!! But then again.. they might get caught or identified while sitting on the stoop waiting for their check…

Today was my day off from work and I have to admit I didn’t do jack shit. That is not entirely accurate.. I did the dishes, the trash, a couple of loads of laundry, took two laundry baskets upstairs.. and cleaned out the DVR or shit I had recorded.

Other then that… I have done “jack shit”. I tried to get my phone to download to the computer. The phone would download everything but the phone book. I have all my programs backed up somewhere but not my phone book… oh no.. fuck no… let’s not allow the computer to back up the 300 plus phone numbers incase anything were to ever happen.. I mean I could have sent it via bluetooth.. but then again I could bite my own dick off… pressing yes over three hundred times would get old …

Speaking of the phone … ringerpost is back up an running .. this is a good thing!! my phone needed some new toys!! I installed Mobi TV so I can watch TV or jam if I ever feel so inclined.. I kind of was sold on that idea once Keegan explained to me how it benefits him. Apparently he watches it while he is in bed at night. I am thinking it would be great to have while in the shitter.. or waiting in line to use the shitter.. or something shitter related…

I downloaded some other program allowing me to change the colors of the phone. The themes the phone comes with sucks. Now I can modify every color I want with in the phone menu’s etc. Kind of like Windows.. but windows sucks remember?

Since having the ability to use Active sync my phone gets really pissed if I use the wrong password to access my phone. It gets so pissed now that it resets the phone and I lose all my data. I would get upset but I back the contents of the phone every night.. so whatever..

My new job or new position I should say is going ok. Still kind of hectic with everything that is going on, but at the same time it isn’t too bad. Just trying to stay on top of everything. Problem is I have to get some shit done so I can have some sort of order but I am thinking the only way I am going to have time to do that is if I work from home. Unlike Radioshack they actually frown when you do that… *shrugs*

Still lovin Ubuntu… fuckin Windows can still lick me…

Other then that .. nothing really exciting going on… I could tell you all about the crap I have been getting done at work but really.. do you care??
